SERVICES
Experience has shown that the best way to provide efficient and budget-wise testing is to perform a High-Voltage sweep on the entire roofing assembly, then perform Low-Voltage Vector Mapping.
By performing the HV test first we find most or all of the puncture type anomalies which may or may not be evident to the naked eye. The HV test is a dry test and makes patches and repairs easy to accomplish.
The LV Vector Mapping test finds less obvious anomalies such as debris under membrane edges, cold joints, open T-Seams, migratory leaks, etc. Repairs from the HV test are also retested during the Vector Mapping. By performing both tests in this sequence we can test much larger areas in less time and test them much more effectively.

EXPERIENCE
While no one can claim a patent on any type of manual testing, there are some companies who do it better than others. The truth is that Low Voltage Vector Mapping. sometimes referred to as EFVM, is as much art as science and with the revolving door that some companies have with their technician positions they never really learn how to effectively test. You see it's really of no consequence if a company has tested millions and millions of square feet of roof. The important question to ask is how many square feet of roofing has the technician they're sending to your project tested? The chances are... not a lot. At Roof Analyzers our technicians stay with us and have the expertise that only experience can bring.
